The Contact Tracking System (version 3.0) is produced and
copyrighted by Jamal Mazrui of Access Success.  It is a shareware
database management system for keeping track of contacts of
people and companies, and the ongoing status of relationships
with those contacts.  A contact file contains address and phone
number information about each contact;  a status file contains
dates and descriptions of events in connection with those
contacts.  A wide range of operations can be performed on each
record including the ability to create the skeleton of a letter
to a contact and load it into your word processor, address an
envelope, and dial a phone number with your modem.  Report
options include mailing labels, a list of reminders organized
chronologically, and mail merge form letters.    

     The system is written to work well with a speech synthesizer
and screen reader program.  It will automatically verbalize
relevant information.  It is also meant to be visually friendly,
however, and need not be used with speech output.

     Version 3.0 of the Contact Tracking System corrects some
small bugs discovered in previous versions and adds many new
features.  These include memo fields in which variable length
text can be entered and searched; capacity for international
addresses; consistent dialing ability with almost any modem; mail
merge capabilities with WordPerfect; classification of STATUS
records according to user defined types; a more powerful "list
mode"; more sophisticated transfers between CONTACT files; user
defined label formats; and several others.

     Though this version is significantly more powerful, it is
also more friendly.  The on-line help is more extensive,
including help screens accessed by pressing the F1 key and other
short help messages that display automatically.  The
documentation file is also more clear and comprehensive.
